Nicole Junkermann on Spotting Gaps in a Plan
A plan can sound complete and still leave out a step. In this short video, Nicole Junkermann explains how AI can help bring those gaps to the surface, while the decision about what deserves a closer look remains a human one.

A plan can sound clear and still miss a step. AI can help spot gaps. You decide what needs a closer look.
Three key points
- A plan that sounds clear can still miss a step.
- AI is useful for surfacing the gaps that are easy to read past.
- Deciding which gaps matter is still your call.
Reading a long plan slowly
Long-range plans are written to persuade, and persuasive writing has a way of smoothing over the steps that are hardest to explain. Nicole Junkermann treats a plan the way she treats a demanding book: read it once for the argument and again for what it leaves out. AI can now help with that second reading, flagging assumptions that were never stated, dates that do not line up or a stage that quietly disappears between two paragraphs. It does not replace the reader. It simply makes the gaps easier to see, so the time spent thinking goes where it counts. In a British setting where projects often run over many years, that kind of patient checking at the start tends to save a great deal of correction later.
